Heather McTeer Toney is Climate Justice Liaison, Environmental Defense Fund and Senior Advisor to Moms Clean Air Force. She served as the first African-American, first female, and youngest mayor of Greenville, Mississippi. In 2014, she was appointed by President Barack Obama to serve as Regional Administrator for Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Southeast Region and is well known for her work in public service, diversity, and community engagement.
