On an album decidedly contemporary for its throwback to dance trends of (somewhat recent) times gone by, Chromeo delivers a complete and particular musical thought: dance like the colored lights shine on you and you alone. And Prince is watching. “Bonafied Lovin'” represents its even mix of Pure '80s sensibility (oh oh oh-oh! slips in there), complete with electric guitar riff—a precise yet subtle design complimented by keyboard solo.
