Daiana Feuer
Daiana Feuer writes and edits for Dame, while cheerfully working on her D.I.T. (Dame In Training) degree, which will hopefully come with a really nice pair of shoes. Daiana also contributes to URB Magazine and co-helms art collective Explorsion (www.explorsion.com). In her "spare" time, she shoots band and concert photography (www.daianafeuer.com), which rewards her with hearing loss and a social life. She co-wrote A Book of Fear: Triskadekaphobia forthcoming on tiny paper by PS Books. Daiana likes to multi-task because she can't juggle. |

Randy Haberek
Randy Haberek, a native of Detroit, Michigan, has held staff positions at stellar publications such as Raygun, Bikini and Hustler. He has also been a frequent contributor to Stuff and the now-defunct FHM. When not toiling away in front of his antiquated Mac, he can usually be found in some dank dive bar trying to drown out the voices in his head. |

Kate Torgovnick
Kate Torgovnick is Dame's editor-at-large, a title she loves since it makes her sound like a criminal on the lam. Prior to landing at Dame, she was a writer/editor at Jane Magazine, where she wrote investigative features and covered entertainment, health, and relationships. Kate's articles have also appeared in the New York Times, Newsweek, Page Six Magazine and British Glamour, among others. Her first book, Cheer!: Three Teams on a Quest for College Cheerleading's Ultimate Prize (Simon and Schuster), hit bookstore shelves in March 2008. It's a sometimes shocking, always intense narrative nonfiction romp through the obsessive world of competitive cheerleading (www.cheerthebook.com). |

Peter Gilstrap
Peter Gilstrap attended the same high school as David Lee Roth and Sirhan Sirhan (though not at the same time) in sexy Pasadena, California, his hometown. He moved to our nation’s capital where he had a brief flirtation with college before embarking on a career in rock. In an attempt to stay alive, he worked as a waiter, a backstage doorman at the Kennedy Center, and finally a reporter at the Washington Post. Over the years he’s written for lots of famous publications, and won obscure journalism awards that offered small cash prizes. Evel Knievel once called him “a motherfucker.” But not in a good way. |
