Polanski Victim to Ink Wrenching Memoir

Meanwhile Hollywood's favorite pedophile waltzes about France drinking cappuccinos.

In her upcoming memoir, “The Girl: Emerging from the Shadow of Roman Polanski”, Samantha Geimer will write extensively about the time when she went to Jack Nicholson’s house at the age of 13 and Roman Polanski allegedly drugged and raped her.

Polanski, who is as well known for Chinatown and Rosemary’s Baby as he is for spending time with young girls, served only 42 days of a court-appointed 90-day psychiatric evaluation in prison before fleeing the country. Today he moves freely between France and Switzerland. Given Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s exploits, France may be tilting towards a pro-rape position at this point, while Switzerland, as always, remains neutral. Still, Polanski flourishes. He is currently in pre-production for his 2014 release, titled D.

Sadly, the media pays too much attention to abusers like Polanski and Pedophile of the Year Jerry Sandusky, while ignoring the victims. Hopefully Geimer’s book, set for release next fall, will go to redress that balance and provide strength for victims everywhere.
