Ryan Gosling Saves The Day
Ryan Gosling apparently saved a British woman from getting hit by a taxi in New York. The Canadian-born actor also broke up a Manhattan street fight last August. So any woman wishing to meet the heartthrob might want to either step in front of a cab or engage in a street fight.
Atlanta-based director Tyler Perry was pulled over by two cops in his hometown for making an illegal left turn. Perry alleges that the cops harassed him because he is black, but it remains possible that the cops simply didn’t recognize Perry without his wig and fake boobs.
Also accused of racism was Burger King, as they pulled an ad off the web featuring Grammy Award-winning R&B singer, Mary J. Blige, standing on a fast food table and crooning about her love of crispy chicken. Some people found the ad offensive. However, there has yet been no comment from any of the chickens in the ad.
In another corporate kerfuffle, Kanye West raps in his newest song that he’s “so cold I need Theraflu”. A company rep replied that they “do not endorse or approve of the Theraflu references”. No mention of the fact that he was a douchebag to Taylor Swift though.
The offspring of The Beatles could be cooking up a Beatles: The Next Generation band. Spearheaded by Paul McCartney’s son, James, it would feature the musician sons of the famed Fab Four. So there still might be a dumber sequel than the remake of Dumb and Dumber.
And a new invention - funded by Bill Gates - aims to turn used toilet water into suitable drinking water. The innovation could transform millions of lives in third world nations. Now all we need is to figure out how to turn sh*t to chicken salad.
