Stuff We Love: OSEA Undaria Algae Oil

We've found you a great solution for that pesky dry winter skin

In case you’ve missed the weather reports, it’s officially winter.

Your face is dry and tight, your lips are chapped and your hands, well, those look like something straight out of a Stephen King film.

We know you’re wishing like hell you were in St. Barth’s with the rest of the jet set, and sadly, we can’t help you with the latter… but we can lend a little sage advice on how to keep from looking like a leper during the cold months. Don't worry – we’re not actually suggesting you have to shave your legs.

But to keep your skin from suffering this season, our suggested secret weapon is OSEA’s Undaria Algae oil.

The stuff has loads of fancy seed oils like acai, babassu, passion fruit and sesame – but is quickly absorbed, isn’t greasy and won’t make you feel like you’re as shiny as the top of the Chrysler Building.

Oh, and it smells awesome.

Yes, we bought this with our own money ($38), and yes, we really, really like it. It’s lightweight and plumps up dry, sun-damaged skin – you know who you are, indoor tanners – and can be used all over your body, and actually, on your face, too. It also helps keep a lid on redness and inflammation, a big bonus during cold weather months.

And yes, for the green-friendly (um, hippies?) among us, it’s certified organic.

Oil up, baby.
