Helen Gurley Brown’s donation to Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism is great news for fun, fearless graduates who want to drive their professors wild with desire.
Magazine pioneer Helen Gurley Brown, 90, yesterday donated $30 million to both Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism and to Stanford’s School of Engineering. The purpose of the gift is to establish the David and Helen Gurley Brown Institute for Media Innovation. At this early stage, little is known about what the new institute will offer, but applications are already flooding in for such positions as Director of Fun and Fearless Studies, Associate Professor of Sex Tips, and Dean of Driving Him Wild 2.0.
